Old enough to drink is a personal-self-styled format of EDH specifically designed for playing in bars with friends. The idea is simple each card must be 21+ which includes the actual printing of the card, so only original and older printings of a particular card, however a simple ruberik is cutting sets off at brown artifacts. (i.e. any set earlier than Mirrodin). I usually get paper printings of very good or better since few people or myself have seen many of these cards unscuffed over the years. Other than that I pretty much stick to normal format rules for EDH. This deck is an exception to the rule since there are no legendary 'Abzan' creatures printed prior to Mirrodin. That being said I could choose a five color commander such as Karona, False God or Chromat however Necrobloom is just too good in this deck considering what the deck is trying to accomplish. This deck is loosely designed based on Prosbloom eschewing cards like Meditate and Prosperity and replacing them with the entirely fair and totally unbusted interaction between Lich and cards like Mirror Universe or Dark Heart of the Wood. Piloting this deck can feel a bit wonky with power level swaying between doing nothing to suddenly taking over the entire game as you figure out how to loop your deck between constantly drawing cards and desperately trying to avoid losing the game by drawing out and dealing just enough sorcery damage to defeat your opponents. If playing toward storm count isn't your bag or seemingly in the cards based on how the game is going the deck still supports drawing the game (Divine Intervention) or the incredibly cheddar style method via creature count and Epic Struggle. I mean you could win with tokens or Commander damage if you play like filthy casual.

Pro-tip: 1. Don't slam down Lich unless you plan on winning that turn!
