A deck converted from an older B/G deck of a similar style that I am currently running in Standard.

Looking for sideboard input, and trying to decide whether I should use Forbidden Alchemy, Tracker's Instincts, or try to squish in Grisly Salvage.

Debating the value of Codex Shredder.

Debating whether Chronic Flooding or Dream Twist suits this deck the best.

Not really sure if this deck is better or worse with the reveal of Gatecrash. It will be pretty interesting against Dimir mill (either they will pump me up so fast they won't stand a chance, or I will just be helping them kill me faster), but there are some interesting things that I wouldn't like to be playing against, such as Death's Approach.

Not sure how long this deck will be hanging around, but at least for now, I'm not giving up on it. :3

Also: Finally made it to my first FNM. I played against G/B zombies, B/W control, W Tokeney thing (was a pretty amateur build), and G/W tokens. The fifth game I got a bye.

I mainly think that my luck was my downfall. I won one game in every single match (just barely) and the ones that I lost were mainly determined by my consistently bad draws. I also made some beginner mistakes, such as tapping the wrong color mana when I needed to save some for another card. However, I feel like the deck would have done much better if it wasn't for my horrible luck that day. I did get one of the door prize promos though, which makes me happy.

Or maybe the deck is just bad outside my casual playgroup. XD But, I live and I learn, and the playgroup I was in was extremely fun to play with and helpful. Hope to go there again.
