Some fine tuning and C19 —Aug. 19, 2019

I left this deck with a lot of 'testing cards' after the last update. The only one of those cards that full on disappointed me was Mox Tantalite. Not only did I have to endure many games with a horrible mana base due to only running 34 lands, the Mox also sucks very hard when it is not in your opening hand. So it immediately got kicked again and I decided to finally make the investment of Ancient Tomb which was abolutely overdue.

Next I have cut Treasure Nabber. It hurts because he brings quite some flavor to the deck and also is not that bad of a card in general. However, the problem with him is he is a dead card against almost any green deck, which tend to run land and creature ramp over artifact ramp. A non-artifact card, which has quite a high chance to be a dead card is not really something I want in this list. So I decided to include another looting outlet in Cathartic Reunion.

So I have this never ending struggle of having to decide wether to run haste enablers (like Anger or Hanweir Battlements  Meld in the past) or not. In the end I think the cons outweigh the pros and therefore I decided to cut Lightning Greaves and included Hedron Archive as I've seen it in many other Daretti lists and I want to test it. Also you can never do something wrong by including more ramp.

Lastly I decided to include Silent Arbiter over Karn, Silver Golem because I think both serve the purpose of protecting Daretti and our life total. However, I think the Arbiter is quite a bit better in doing so. I lose a combo in Mycosynth Lattice + Karn, Silver Golem but I rarely used that combo anyway.

Regarding C19 there have not been any new cards of interest to this list. I think I will be testing Dockside Extortionist as soon as I get my hands on him, but I don't think he will be making it into the deck. When Throne of Eldraine will be released Arcane Signet will definetly be an auto-include due to it enabling turn 3 Daretti. I will post an update then aswell. The description will be updated soon. There have been some foils added as listed below.
