"Boof boof", says Bernard the Snow Hound.

Snow Hounds were bred in the western Alps of France as rescue dogs, assisting those in need of saving in the chilling cold (Barrel of brandy not included, this time).

Bernard is dedicated, running into the front lines of the battlefield to save his blue or green friends, or simply escort them back after a long day. With bernard's help, characters like Ainok Guide , Eternal Witness, and Bane of Progress can truly shine through multiple iterations of battlefield entering-ness!

Bernard is also (apparently) a very powerful Bant spellcaster, with many flashy enchantments at his disposal, including Fracturing Gust , Aura Shards, Angelic Chorus , Rhystic Study , and Descendants' Path .

And when pushed into a corner, Bernard - with the help of his loving friends: Battering Krasis , Renegade Krasis, and Cloudfin Raptor to name just a few - is a tough force to be reckoned with.

Though I'd ultimately suggest just cuddling with the guy, he loves cuddling.

"Cute Fluffy Doggo Does a Command" is a gimmick EDH deck I made because I loved the idea of a fluffy dog leading a pack of viscous and angry monsters to battle. Obviously, Snow Hound 's colour identity is only and non-legendary, so I took a few liberties to establish some usefulness in the card as commander. So while this choice of commander isn't exactly "legal", it is very fun and funnily viable for a deck with a cost of under $100 while also including powerful staple cards. And for those of you with a love for legality and a strict "No fun allowed" ruling, included in the sideboard is Roon of the Hidden Realm as an optional, substitute commander.
