I've always liked the idea of making a deck utilizing the Shrines from the Kamigawa era and I also really liked the idea of creating a Curse oriented deck. This is my attempt to do both, while at the same time combining it with a pretty mean commander in the form of Reaper King. Unfortunately, scarecrows kinda suck... Let's be honest, with the exception of Reaper King, Scarecrone, and Scaretiller there really aren't that many worthwhile scarecrow creatures. Which is why we are forced to use changelings to shore up the rather pathetic showing by the rest of the scarecrew. Not that this really matters either way, because we just want to proc our King's effect and blow up some creatures/artifacts/lands/everything really.

One of the more interesting interactions you can have is to play Changeling Hero / Changeling Titan / Changeling Berserker while Panharmonicon is on the field and one of the previously mentioned cards with "Champion a creature" is in play. You get 2 proc's off of the "scarecrow" entering the battlefield, and then you "Champion" the other creature with "Champion," removing it from the field and bringing back whatever scarecrow/changeling it had previously exiled, proc'ing yet another 2 destructions, etc... And if you happen to also have Soulherder on the field, well that's just icing on the cake with 2+ more proc's for Reaper King right there during the end phase.

Morophon, the Boundless is really useful in that he will wipe out all the color costs of pretty much every creature card in the deck, as well as allowing us to only have to pay the "Tax" to summon our Commander back and that small +1/+1 buff is pretty nice as well.

There are a couple of cards in here for recovery of the Shrines/Curses: Hanna, Ship's Navigator, Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor, and Sanctum of All being the primary ways.

Also, Dragon's Hoard is great at giving us draws via the changelings hitting the field.

~The price is completely ridiculous and I would never actually spend this kind of money on cardboard(even if I love the game). That being said, an easy and obvious fix would be to "downgrade" the lands as that's where the hefty price is coming from. Buuuut since I'm only playing this deck via Forge, I'm not too concerned with the imaginary price.~

EDIT: I was curious to see how much the price would drop if I swapped out the lands with less pricey(lesser in general?) lands. The link below is the result of my experiment. It's shocking really...
