I've always wanted to play Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker , but he is simply unplayable. The new planeswalker- Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh , is considerably better but probably still unplayable in Modern. His +2 is reliant on your opponents deck, and his +1 is powerful, but doesn't provide enough of a "oomph" at the late stages of the game that he will likely come out on. In short, he seems like a "Win-more" card; 7 mana is just too high a price to pay for such a late pay off.
