Brief Overview

With Strixhaven we got five new Pre-Constructed Commander Decks and I decided to build some new Decks around some of the Pre-Constructed Commanders as well as around some of the Legends from the Main Set. This Decks resolves around Gyome, Master Chef and his ability to create Food Tokens for every creature that entered the Battlefield on our side. I think Gyome is a really flavorful card the optionsof creating a Food-Tribal-Deck is very interesting. With the inclusion of several good artifacts and small Mana-Dorks I try to generate as much Food as possible to use this as Boost for my Creatures with Cards like Cranial Plating .

Main Strategy

The main strategy of this deck is to play as many small creatures during my Turn as possible, to generate a huge mass of Food-Token, which can than generate even more value. By Sacrifing the Food Token to cards like Savvy Hunter or Maraleaf Rider I can generate damage with the help of Cards like Nadier's Nightblade . Furthermore can the huge mass of Food Token help to boost creatures like Nim Shrieker or with the help of Cranial Plating .

Food-Tribal and Artifacts

I included nearly all Cards that deal with Food-Tokens like Bake into a Pie or Cauldron Familiar to create even more Food-Tokens. Therefore a huge part of this deck contains these cards simply for the Flavor of of this deck. To profit from the fact that Food-Tokens are Artifacts I inlcuded cards that can profit from them in other ways than just beeing Foods. Cards like Rampage of the Clans or Marionette Master can be really great in this deck. With the help of Myr Retriever or Junk Diver I can generate many ETB-triggers for Gyome to create many Tokens.

Summary

ALl in all this deck is very flavorful and the Food-Tribal cards fit good in this deck. I still think that this deck could be even better even though I excluded cards like Doubling Season because I want to play Decks that are very different from one another. Therefore I included them in my Esix -Deck (Fractals Everywhere). Any suggestions are still very welcome.
