Competitive EDH Lord Windgrace

Commander / EDH BRG (Jund)

OneXUp

A take on Windgrace that prioritizes playing out the long game, disruption, and card advantage. Ideally you want to ramp, use your tutors to grab answers, and when able - Wipe everyone's lands and use Windgrace/World Shaper/Titania to give yourself advantage in the aftermath; that or use the 1 Card Combo generator that is: Survival of the fittest. [4 card package of Kiki, Conscripts, Survival and Phyrexian Delver] Card Choices (work in progress)

Enchantments are an important part of strategy to wipe the board of lands due to all of the mass land destruction spells not being able to destroy Enchantments. Once the dust clears, you'll still be able to either oppress the rest of the board or still generate advantage. Carpet of Flowers & Exploration - These two help you generate extra mana and ramp respectively. If in your local meta, there is little or no blue decks, Carpet can be taken out. Phyrexian Arena & Sylvan Library - Being that we are running large land destruction spells that cost upwards of 6 mana or more, Dark Confidant is not particularly a good idea. Instead, we'll be using Confidant's cousin Phyrexian Arena as our Card Advantage tool along with Sylvan Library; a staple for Green cEDH decks. Price of Glory & Stranglehold - Price of Glory is a nightmare for blue decks that are oh so common in cEDH plus it's a good lead up to our inevitable Mass Land Destruction. Stranglehold is great example of one-sided Stax in our deck, allowing us to search while our opponents sit there with dead Fetches/Tutors/etc. Survival of the Fittest - Jund colors in EDH are able to pull of this devilish combo. It is a little mana-pricey to pull off in one turn, but as long as you at least have this card you instantly become a threat in the coming turns. The Combo being: Play Survival of the Fittest, ditch any creature in your hand, grab Kiki/Conscripts, ditch whatever you grabbed and go get the other, ditch that card to grab Phyrexian Delver. From there, you play Delver returning Kiki to the field, Kiki makes a copy of Delver which will now etb again allowing you to put Conscripts on to the field. Conscripts untaps Kiki, Kiki copies Conscripts - rinse repeat for infinite Conscripts which all have haste to attack the board for game. Squandered Resources - Awesome card considering you're going to be popping your lands anyway. It's most common application will be tapping all of your lands, then sacrificing all those lands to ramp further into your Mass Land Destruction. If you have Windgrace out and feel confidant he's safe or will die anyway you can always sac some lands for some mana to return them back to the field anyway with Windgrace's minus ability.
Artifacts tend to get caught in the crossfire of what this deck is trying to do, so we only run cEDH Artifact staples or low-cost Stax pieces. Grim Monolith , Lotus Petal , Mana Crypt , Mana Vault , Sol Ring - If you play cEDH, you know these are auto-includes in any build.
