I wasn't happy with how my deck:17-05-21-tanazir-quandrix deck felt in goldfishing, so I decided to focus on the combos to give myself a fighting chance of pulling off a spectacular win. Individual card quality is pretty poor, as Commander goes; the plan is to durdle, play politics, throw counterspells, anything to keep myself alive until I can ramp and dig deep enough to assemble something game-winning. There are several possible game plans, so hopefully I can pivot if a crucial piece gets removed.

Basalt Monolith + Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy produces unlimited colorless mana. I can pour that into any X spell or effect, the best of which is probably Hydra Broodmaster . But even an arbitrarily large Ugin's Conjurant will do in a pinch (hope I've got Rogue's Passage out!).

Add Merfolk Skydiver + Prismite to the above and I can Proliferate an unlimited number of times, to max out planeswalkers, turn single +1/+1 counters into one-shot threats, etc.

Planewide Celebration + Tamiyo, Collector of Tales is also a good Proliferate engine, as I can keep retrieving Celebration with Tamiyo's downtick while replacing her loyalty counters with Proliferate. Add Magistrate's Scepter and it's game over as I take unlimited turns.

Lastly, there's Adrix and Nev, Twincasters + Helm of the Host to flood the board with token doublers. I don't have so many token producers that this is an ideal payoff, but it can get to "board wipe or I win" within a couple turn cycles. Helm of the Host is fine played for value on its own, anyway!

This is a "cards I own" list, so suggestions of individual card upgrades may or may not be helpful, but advice on overall structure is welcome for sure!
