Key Cards:

Combos:

Darksteel Plate + Pariah's Shield , Matter Reshaper + Pariah's Shield , Pathrazer of Ulamog + Silent Arbiter , Labyrinth of Skophos + Silent Arbiter , All Is Dust + It That Betrays

Mana Ramp:

-Palladium Myr is a must have in your opening hand, as not only will it help you begin to ramp up some mana, but it (along with Matter Reshaper) is our lowest costing creature, which might help if you pull an early Darksteel Plate.

-Hedron Archive is another great mana artifact as you can sacrifice it once you have mana to spare to draw two cards! -Forsaken Monument was practically made for this deck, it not only has ridiculous mana ramp, but buffs your creatures and lets you gain life for every spell you cast.

Health Gain:

-Elixir of Immortality helps to get cheap health, but is also great for shuffling cards back into your library!

-Tomb of the Spirit Dragon works wonders for recovering health later in the game when you control more creatures and more copies of Tomb of the Spirit Dragon as you might find yourself with a little extra mana and untapped lands at the end of your turn.

-Inventors' Fair also has health gain, but more importantly, it can be sacrificed to pull an artifact from your library. -Forsaken Monument is the swiss army knife of this deck, as it also happens to have a little health gain next to it's other two awesome abilities!

Strong Defense:

-Silent Arbiter Is perfect for delaying the game, allowing you more time to set up and mana ramp to get out big creatures and not having to worry about tokens getting past your defences. Annihilate will ensure that your attacks count, even more so when you attack with a Pathrazer of Ulamog.

-Labyrinth of Skophos can be used defensively and offensively, but really shines when you control a Silent Arbiter as for four mana you can prevent your opponent from dealing any damage during their combat phase.

-Pariah's Shield is another great card that can be put onto any Ulamog (Ulamog the Infinate Gyre, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger), or Darksteel Myr, or any other creature attached to Darksteel Plate to prevent any combat damage done to you.

-Darksteel Forge will reinforce your defenses further, protecting your Forsaken Monuments and Pariah's Shields from being destroyed, while Palladium Myr and Silent Arbiter can now combo with Pariah's Shield without needing a Darksteel Plate.
