Welcome to my Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck!

Overview:

This is my take on a Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck. We'll be planning on either storming the field with tokens and swinging in, draining our opponents, or even going infinite! There are lots of ways to win with this deck, and during each battle, you can decide what approach would be the most effective.

How To Play:

Teysa, Orzhov Scion, is a very low-cost commander, and she is two-color. For these reasons, we can get her out early, but we should refrain until we can actually take advantage of her abilities. For example, if she is on the battlefield by herself, and she dies, she won't net us anything. She doesn't trigger her own ability for black creatures dying, so it would just be a waste. Getting our token generators and sacrifice outlets out early is a much more beneficial approach.

How to Win:

Typically, a Teysa deck would include Darkest Hour and devote its entire strategy to tutoring and casting that card to go infinite with her ability. I have included this card, but it isn't the main focus of this deck, though it always remains a possibility in a pinch. I have also included Painter's Servant due to its recent unbanning. It acts as a second Darkest Hour. Another alternative win condition is Revel in Riches. We can easily get to over 10 Treasures at almost any time (which, nominally, we would try to get it just before our upkeep). This is with the assistance of cards like Pitiless Plunderer's production of treasures from dead creatures and Teysa Karlov's doubling of death triggers.

Control the Board:

With our creatures constantly dying, we might not end up with a board to defend ourselves; however, I have taken measures to aid in this problem. I've included Dictate of Erebos, Martyr's Bond,Butcher of Malakir, and Smokestack. These not only allow us to wipe our enemies boards one creature at a time, but it also allows us to continue rolling in the coins unhindered.
