This is a control/value oriented Deck which tries to utilize The Scarab God to keep our options open until the last second. To do this the deck runs alot of instant speed interaction to accompany the instant speed nature of our God's activated ability. The endgame is supposed to be forcing through a wheel effect with Narset, Parter of Veils , Hullbreacher or Notion Thief on the field, making our control grip on the table nigh insurmountable. Another way to lock a game down is by getting Maralen of the Mornsong down with everybody's new favorite black card Opposition Agent , however you need to have the board and interaction for spells in hand otherwise you just lock yourself out aswell with this.

Another way to play this deck, if dealt the right hand, is to play a fast reanimator game. Discard fatties early with Careful Study and Chart a Course or even Entomb and then reanimate with the various spell options such as Reanimate or Animate Dead .
