Sideboard

Maybeboard

Like other blood sisters decks this is centered around the combo of Enduring Renewal + Wild Cantor sacrificing the cantor for infinite die/ enters the battlefield triggers. It has additional paths with Enduring Renewal + Skirk Prospector or paying 0 to cast Chamber Sentry + Enduring Renewal to get the same effect.

With Essence Warden, Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant in play the deck can net infinite life as early as turn 3. With other perfect hands and no answer from opponents, turn three could be an infinite mill with Altar of the Brood, turn 4 infinite life drain with Bastion of Remembrance, infinite damage with Impact Tremors, and infinite 1/1 flying creatures with Abzan Ascendancy.

If a win condition is not immediate, Aura of Silence makes more expensive or can deal with Enchantments or Artifacts, Path to Exile for creature removal, while Abiding Grace, Proclamation of Rebirth and Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord can play creatures from the graveyard, including fallen combo pieces. 4 different potential tutors, 6 cards total plus 2 in the Sideboard, find the missing piece of the puzzle, usually the renewal but there's lots of flexibility.

Finally, with Silverquill Campus or a recurring creature and Enduring Renewal + Shadows of the Past you scry-control the top of your library with any of the creature combos (now a total of 8) to essentially tutor any card. The biggest, baddest card in the deck, Bolas's Citadel is here purely for fun in casual play, for going off in style. If the combo pieces are not in play, the shadows get you closer to your pieces while the Citadel is great but has the bonus effect of getting past Enduring Renewal's creature embargo so you can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

I built this around the academy rector/Replenish/Enduring renewal/ornithopter/Soul warden combo deck I built in the days of Urza's Legacy and lost long ago as well. In this incarnation I have taken influences from several other Enduring Renewal decks on this site and tried to include answers for what might be out there. The biggest problem with this deck is control, or if it doesn't hit right away it has problems with aggro. Graveyard hate can be a problem as can anything with enchantment destruction or that can remove the renewal from the deck like Surgical Extraction. The deck also has no targeted planeswalker removal and needs to go off before theirs unless you swap in something like Fracture or Hex Parasite. I specifically did not want to use Blasting Station or Grinding Station for the sake of variety and because the altar and tremors have the same net effects for cheaper.

Updated the deck to remove Viscera Seer and a basic Plains in favor of Shadows of the Past and an additional chamber sentry. The seer had only one sentry to synergize with whereas shadows can combo with 8 creatures and is triggered when any creature on the battlefield dies.
