The C17 Spoilers hit me when I was about to improve my already existing Brimaz deck. Upon seeing Arahbo, Roar of the World , I decided that this is going to be my new cat commander, but I also realised that the strategy needed to be entirely different. The Eminence ability is what I want from the commander, the plan is not playing Arahbo at all but to abuse his free +3/+3 boost every turn. It gets absolutely ridiculous with double strike and infect under stax effects, so this is the way to go.

The plan is to get a cat, preferably Adorned Pouncer , Lost Leonin , Skyhunter Skirmisher aalong with stax effects into play in the early game. Then the deck starts to apply pressure while people try to play around the obstacles. Eminence is pretty much impossible to interact with, so the cat beaters are always 5+ power and that's a reasonable threat at a staxed out table. The deck is also rather resilient against opposing stax because it doesn't rely on activated abilities or etb triggers and also doesn't need the graveyard to win.
