- Blue Sun's Zenith
IN:
- Stroke of Genius
The reason why I used to run USZ over Stroke of Genius is that it's easier to explain the Mill win thanks to USZ shuffling back into our deck (i.e. "Cast USZ, draw my deck, shuffle it back, cast a Cantrip, get USZ, mill one player out, rinse and repeat"). With Stroke of Genius, it's a bit more complicated: We Stroke one opponent (heh), cast Timetwister, +1 Teferi until we find Stroke again, cast it on our next opponent, cast Time Spiral, +1 Teferi again until we find Stroke, and finally Stroke our last opponent.
Furthermore, the Stroke win should only come up when we can't bolt someone to death, which is almost never going to be the cast. Stroke of Genius is also much easier to use for value thanks to only requiring one Blue Mana rather than three.
