Humor yourself at the amazement of Cheerinaus Besieged!

Cheerios Zur List, winning off of either Mirrodin Besieged + Ad Nauseam + Zombie Infestation. contains 47 cards as of 5/8/2020 that cost 0-1 mana (including lands) Meaning almost 50% of your cards, half your deck, and with Ad Nauseam, it will barely hurt you! I compare this deck to the same appeal as Anje Falkenrath madness cEDH decks.

BUT WAIT DON'T GO, It's not ...A really bad deck that is inferior to the typical Zur decks, who cares if we run 50% "crap"?.. well it might be bad but who cares? IT WILL throw off your opponents once they see your first* search trigger."What is this, a casual deck..., can I read that card?". The deck plays like a typical Ad Nauseam deck, has a decent control package, the deck is quite linear as you know how you usually want to end the game with Mirrodin Besieged. The backup win con is utilizing Aetherflux Reservoir with the crazy card advantage which can be tutored up with Zur the Enchanter.

A known issue with the deck is that the deck cannot usually kill all the players at once, leaving it to be very very vulnerable on the combo turn. The deck can kill the biggest threats after each turn, while holding up many interaction, and having a large amount of zombie tokens due to the card Zombie Infestation + Ad Nauseam.

The deck has enough space for a consulation//tainted pact package. Include if you like, however then you may get further away from this deck concept. Not trying to say that this deck is far inferior, but it would change the deck dynamic and game plan a lot.

Gameplan Show

The first few turns 1-2 we will set up our mana base and hopefully have a tutor in our hand Vampiric Tutor, Mystical Tutor, Demonic Tutor. With this set up we should be able to get our commander down turn 2-3 optimally with the help of all the mana rocks in magic history.

With our engine slowly coming together, playing any of the 0-1 mana spell bombs or artifacts that sacrafice themselves for card advantage will be the ideal situation.

By turn 4+ we should be comfortable to cast an end of last players turn before ours Ad Nauseam. With this happening at our opponents endstep we will be able to start a turn with a hand of 0-1 mana cost rocks. With all of these we can either swing with Zur the Enchanter and tutor up a Zombie Infestation, this way prior to our end step we can manually get our graveyard to 15 artifacts.

TIPS Show

It is generally worth swinging with Zur as our first action of each turn. We essentially only need Mirrodin Besieged in play and an Ad Nauseam in hand to start cooking.

Be very sure that you can sneak an end of turn Ad Nauseam, or main phase with multiple counters, a Silence at an opponents endstep + Ad Nauseam can cause a lot of people to question to counter it.

Remember Zur only needs to attack in order to trigger. Therefore we do not care if Zur would die due to blocks (never happens with 3 people but still).

Once we have Mirrodin Besieged in play, search for a Zombie Infestation (or hope you draw one with Ad Nauseam). So we can discard all of our cheerios to make zombies, and make our enchantment active!

Alternatively, we can tutor Necropotence, use it to draw an obscure amount of cards, then during our next turn tutor for Oblivion Ring prior to our discard so we can fill our yard with some tasty honey nut o's.
