CEDH sweat-fest. Seedborn Thrasios

Commander / EDH GWUB Infinite Combo Multiplayer Ramp

Ya-Boi

Intro

This is my attempt to make the best CEDH deck possible. The deck I built is a Thrasios, Triton Hero and Tymna the Weaver combo deck that uses Seedborn Muse to lock up the game through it's various control pieces. The combination of ramp and the deck's low average cmc make the deck very fast. However, the deck is meant to be played as a midrange build, leveraging either one of our commander's abilities to generate card advantage and outvalue our opponents.

This deck can create wins trough 4 main combos, 3 of them being independent from our command zone.

Our fish combo consists of casting a Thassa's Oracle and responding to it's ETB trigger with Demonic Consultation naming the oracle, exiling our deck, and winning us the game. This combo is compact and low costed, I think it's the best combo in EDH right now. Our backup cards consist of Laboratory Maniac and Tainted Pact. These cards do the same thing, just a bit slower.
Our second combo consists of casting Ad Nauseam and responding to it with Angel's Grace. This will allow us to draw out our entire library and cast either Thassa's Oracle or labman while holding every unused counter spell in our deck.
This combo involves casting Isochron Scepter and imprinting Dramatic Reversal. If you can generate more than 2 mana without lands, u can infinitly untap the scepter along with your mana producers. We hen dump this mana into Thrasios, drawing our deck, and once again finishing with a Thassa's Oracle
A combo so potent they made a deck about it. The opus Thief combo involves a wheel like Windfall being cast, and responding to it with an Notion Thief or a Hullbreacher. Smothering Tithe and Narset, Parter of Veils will also gain you value. While this doesn't win you the game outright, it will create such a disparity between you and your opponents that they wont really be able to recover.

Why Thrasios and Tymna?

Our commander pairing provides all the colors essential to Ramp, Card Draw, and the best Tutors EDH has. You will also notice that our "Card advantage" bracket is a little slim. This is because both our commanders have card draw built into them, providing gas throughout the game. Thrasios also pairs really well with Seedborn Muse, this combo is the deck's namesake. Tymna also excels in pairings involving green, as she turns your eraly game mana dorks into attackers to draw you cards. If I ever were to change it would be to Kenrith, the Returned King, a very similar card to Thrasios, and where I would have access to Dockside Extortionist, Underworld Breach, Wheel of Fortune, Gamble and all of the other red good stuff.

When to Win.

Knowing when to win is the hardest part of playing CEDH, opponents can win on the stack and can hold counter spells without any mana open. A power 10 CEDH deck has to be able to consistently threaten a win on turn 3, not win, but threaten one. This why our control package is so large. Not only to counter our opponents from wining but to make sure we can actually resolve our combos. cards like Autumn's Veil and Flusterstorm are great for combo protection. We also run low cmc and no cmc counterspells such as Dispel and Force of Will.

Seedborn Muse

Seedborn Muse is the MVP and namesake of our deck. there's no better feeling than having a full hand of counterspells, Seedborn Muse, and Thrasios, Triton Hero out on the field. you're scrying and drawing multiple times on your opponents turns, as well as thwarting their plans as you develop your own. You are king of the table and what you say goes.

Mana Wise

If you look at the pie charts you'll notice that we're missing some blue mana. It isn't noticeable while playing because of all our fetch lands and rainbow lands, but it still warrants an explanation. A lot of our high blue symbols stem from cards you will never pay for, such as Force of Negation and Mental Misstep. Running these Force of Will type cards requires you to have many blue cards in your deck, giving you a lot of blue symbols you're never really gonna pay for.

Potential Changes

I'd really like to include a Sensei's Divining Top and a Narset's Reversal Both these cards pair really well with what I'm trying to do, I just cant find something to slot out.
