Infect is pretty much a dead meme at this point. Banning Gitaxian Probe hurt a lot. Maybe Kaladesh can solve the deck’s problems, but like the man said, “I doubt it.” Let’s try anyways. How can we make Infect git gud? We could try adding trample. That might work. Splash some , call it Temur for branding purposes, and call it a day. We obviously want Temur Battle Rage. That’s just good tech. This needs a little more spice, though. How about Invigorated Rampage? That seems legit. Heck, throw in a Blossoming Defense since we don’t know when it’s safe to swing; might was well make our dudes hexproof. A little Spell Pierce couldn’t hurt either. Thanks, Kaladesh. Drop in a Stomping Ground and Wooded Foothills, maybe a Simian Spirit Guide or two and there’s the splash. It might even work. At the very least we have a deck that can maybe probably sort of hopefully catch someone off guard… the first time. That and a write up that isn’t pretentious as if the brewer is thinks he works for some website that we won’t talk about.
