Recently getting into commander, this is my first deck idea for this format. I play commander 2 to 3 nights a week with a group of 3-4 usually.

As much fun as I have countering every big play, it is not the same for my friends. Commander usually being more casual, I mainly play with this deck only when everyone else is playing near tier 1 level decks. If I don't, not alot of interactions occur but frustrations sure do. This deck can counter alot of things but Can't Counter the Hate.

How it works:In early turns of the game ideally I start by playing artifacts to produce extra mana. As well as enchantments like Rhystic Study or Counterbalance. Another nice combo to set up early on is Isochron Scepter exiling Pongify or Rapid Hybridization. When you Play Talrand, Sky Summoner if you dont't have any huge threats to deal with you can destroy your own drakes and make 2 tokens. Mainly you want to save your instants and sorceries to produce drakes and protect Talrand.

The win:The combo that wins is using Mass Polymorph when you have 6 creatures on the battlefield. This brings all 6 creatures from your deck onto the battlefield. Usually playing with 3 other people I get 3 instant or sorceries to play from Diluvian Primordial. That allows Docent of Perfection   to produce 3 tokens and flip in response. Then Tidespout Tyrant lets you get rid of the 3 biggest threats on the board. Then Stormtide Leviathan, Guile, and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur make it a pain for any sort of retaliation if they don't scoop by then. Alternative ways I have won from before is having a ton of drakes and playing Coat of Arms for huge swings.
