This is a take on Boros burn, which I've been seeing around a lot lately. It's puzzled me that one of the best Planeswalkers to be printed in a while, Chandra, Pyromaster, hasn't seen much play in Standard, despite seeing decent amounts of play all the way back to Legacy. I was looking to take a shot at the Boros burn deck, and realized, "Hey, that's kind of what she's best at!" Card advantage and pinging are both pretty valuable there, and if you happen to hit her ultimate on a Warleader's Helix, you just win right there.

The card ultimately cut was Shock, mostly a metagame choice on my part; the store where I play doesn't actually have that much aggro running around, so it doesn't remove much. The sideboard is where I want the most input, though I think it's pretty solid. Mizzium Mortars comes in against decks running Stormbreath Dragon and Blood Baron of Vizkopa, Viashino Firstblade comes in after they've boarded out most of their creature removal, Burning Earth is ridiculously strong against control.
