Do you love alternate win cons? Do you love loading up the board and swinging every turn? My Secret Santee does and I immediately thought of Revel in Riches . (and it's less fun, less budget, but probably stronger cousin Mechanized Production )

From there Malcom, Keen-Eyed Navigator was an easy choice to helm the deck, because of his unrivaled ability to churn out treasures. Next we added Nadier Agent of duskenel. He supports us in a couple key ways, firstly, he's black, so we can actually include our favorite wincon (I feel like there is a "token" black guy joke in here, but I don't want to be crass). Secondly he will go tall when treasure token are used, while the pirates are going wide. It makes us flexible. Lastly, if he gets picked off, he summons a mighty elven army to guard the treasury we're amassing for our glorious "I win" cards or our Marionette Master / Time Sieve combos.

Yes, some of the treasure cards are weaker than more common staples, but we don't care. We want to be as greedy as possible. Need all that glittery goodness!

What good is treasure though without your homies to share it with? Currently the list runs 29 pirate buddies sharing the wealth! Honestly I want more, but I promise we need slots for non-pirates unfortunately. (What else would we spend the treasures on!)

I originally had a lot more token production to focus on going tall with Nadier, like Akroan Horse and Endrek Sahr, but they ended up being cut because it slowed us down. They couldn't keep up with our hustle, and we got to hustle if we're going to make that skrilla!

Our partners in crime are more into the party kind of wealth than the controlling kind, but we do have to protect our wealth, Negate and Cancel are making sure everything we have is above board.

Special thanks to: AzulTennin, Nova Rose, Loxi, and 4lien4tion for taking the time to look over the deck and make recommendations

future upgrades and cards I plan to test: We could definitely update the mana base with even cheap things like Sunken Hollow or Exotic Orchard . Sol Ring and Arcane Signet can replace the diamonds, but I'm not sure we even need the diamonds with the treasure we're making, it might just be better to have more pirates. Skyclave Relic is a rock that might be stronger in this deck because the artifact synergy.

Coastal Piracy is super on theme, and operates as another Bident of Thassa , and draw is probably our weakest spot right now.

I originally had Hostage Taker , SpellSwindell, and Pitiless Plunderer in here, but needed to trim the budget back. Hullbreacher and Corsair Captain are more expensive upgrades.

Inspiring Statuary might be overkill as it basically doubles treasures, but I want to try it.

Obviously better tutors would make the deck more consistent, but I'm not sure they're needed.

I would have liked to put counterspell or other two mana counters like Delay , really anything able to stop a board wipe, and stop enchantment removal. I chose Negate , but with how much enchantment removal is on green creatures I'm not happy about running it.

Nova Rose thought Masterful Replication would combo well with the Obelisk of Urd or Fell Flagship , and its probably worth testing, but I worried it was a win more card. Most our other bombs are good on a near empty board.

I had Army of the Damned in but cut it for theme. I think it's an absolute bomb though and would work well with nadier going tall

Talas Explorer was an early cut since his stats were underwhelming for the two drop slot and the ability wasn’t useful for our game plan. He was never play tested, but I’m starting to wonder if that two drop curve into Malcolm is too strong to lose and he should be added back, plus who doesn’t love a weird old card that’s cheap. Rishadan Brigand was also cut for being too high for its stats, but if Rishadan Footpad is pretty effective our end up not being able to attack ever since it spent have evasion, then it might be worth doubling up on the effect or switching him out to get the flying

If your favorite parts of this deck are the combo pieces, then Keskit, the Flesh Sculptor would make the deck more consistent and better commander for you.
