Hello and welcome to my Sek'kuar budget EDH deck page! I wanted to make a very cheap deck that was fun to play with my friends that I could conceivably give away as a gift. I made a some rules for the deck from which I based all my decisions.

1: Each card in the deck would be capped at $2; a few cents over was okay but nothing more than that.

2: The whole deck should cost me, realistically, around $20-30 USD to create and sleeve. As of posting this list FEB 2019, I have achieved this. If you don't care about condition you can have this deck, shipped, for around $20 USD from tcgplayer.

3: Fun cards or synergistic cards should take precedence over cut-throat cards.

4: Try and buy as few cards as possible and work with things I already owned, though still following rules 1&2.

That's it! I could have included some very good cards that are very powerful which I also own but I excluded them because they cost more than $2 or I decided that they were un-fun. As far as piloting this thing there aren'y many tutors to speak of and most of the cards in the deck have a lot of synergy with one another. There are some obvious combos and some not so obvious ones. For how inexpensive the deck is it is capable of some very respectable board states.

Pros: Very cheap Very Fun Pretty obscure commander leads to you (hopefully) flying under the radar. Random and explosive turns can really blow people away and take one person out of the game while damaging the others with the drain effects. A lot of the cards work very well together so a lot of small engines can be built very easily. Really surprisingly good draw from the deck. Once you get a recursive draw engine going it's easy to draw 2-3 cards a turn.

Cons: Fairly weak draw some games, other times almost too much, in other words not consistent draw. Tokens: The variety of tokens and keeping track of how many of which kind you have can be a nightmare. If you don't like using a lot of math during some turn this might not be the deck for you. Lack of tutors and draw make some games into draw-go nightmares. Board wipes are hard to come back from sometimes. A lot of small bleed effects can make keeping life totals kind of a pain.
