Do you like turning creatures sideways but don't like spending money on expensive shocklands? Try Artifact Zoo!

Creatures

• Ardent Recruit : Usually a 3/3 for . Pretty great.

• Bomat Courier: This card is GREAT. It has haste, it's an artifact, and it can gain us a bunch of cards when we're hellbent.

• Court Homunculus : Not as big as Ardent Recruit once it's online, but it is easier to get it online. Also, it's an artifact in addition to being a creature.

• Inventor's Apprentice : Same as Court Homunculus , except it has 1 more toughness but isn't an artifact.

• Memnite: Allows you to get a turn 1 2/3 with Inventor's Apprentice , crews The Looter Scooter for free, and can do a few extra points of damage.

• Puresteel Paladin: Provides some card draw and lets us not have to spend mana on equips.

• Signal Pest: Like I said, buffs to our whole team are very good. Signal Pest gives that and is also an artifact. These are very fun of you have multiple of them.

• Toolcraft Exemplar: Another Inventor's Apprentice variation. Very good with only one artifact and gets better with more.

• Porcelain Legionnaire: A slightly more consistent Toolcraft Examplar.

Instants

Dispatch: Very crappy card, unless you have metalcraft. Then it's a strictly better path.

Galvanic Blast: Very crappy card, unless you have metalcraft. Then it's a strictly better Bolt. Deja vu?

Lightning Bolt: Sometimes you don't have metalcraft online and you just want a Bolt.

Artifacts

• Cranial Plating: More damage!

• Welding Jar : A 0-drop artifact that can also deal some extra damage.

Lands

• Battlefield Forge: Can tap for colorless mana for our artifacts or colored mana for our other spells. More of a budget choice.

• Blinkmoth Nexus: Can turn into an artifact to trigger our Inventor-type creatures then swing in for an extra few points of damage.

• Contested War Zone: I've already said it twice, but it's so true: Team buffs are great. Contested War Zone gives us that on a land.

• Inspiring Vantage: This deck doesn't run very many lands, so this will often enter untapped. Also a budget choice.

• Mountain/Plains: Basic lands. Not much to say.

• Darksteel Citadel: Artifact land!

Sideboard

Deflecting Palm helps against bogles and combo decks.

Relic of Progenitus: Stops any graveyard shenanigans and is also an artifact.

Disenchant: Artifact and enchantment hate is always useful.

Solemnity: Stops Infect decks, Affinity decks, and annoying cards like Chalice of the Void.

Kor Firewalker: Very good against burn and RDW decks.
