The whole deck is based around the idea if beating the opponent down with a hyper efficient beatstick early and then closing out the game with Shrapnel Blast.

• Ensoul Artifact: Converts cheap artifacts into 5/5 threats that inherit qualities such as Hast/Flying/Indestructible/Unblockable.

• The Blackstaff of Waterdeep: Can animate artifacts into 4/4 beaters acting as an additional Ensoul.

• Surge Engine: Typically just pay {U} for the first mode for a 3/2 unlockable; but you can make it more CHONKY if needed. The activated abilities are permanent so you don't have to keep paying mana to lose defender or other modes.
