Ramp/Rocks

Arguably the most important section of the deck, since were in Boros.

Burnished Hart - Two lands straight out on the battlefield for 6 mana. Not bad for ramp in these colors.

Knight of the White Orchid - Lets you get a Plains if someone controls more lands than you.

Neheb, the Eternal - I LOVE this card for its ramp. I use it as a General in my Mono Red commander deck.

Solemn Simulacrum - Get a land, and fling him with Brion to draw a card. Sad Robot has never worked better!

Land Tax - If you have this along with a Plains in your first hand, you're basically set for the game.

Armillary Sphere - Two lands in your hand for 4 mana.

Boros Signet - Duh. 2 for 1 mana, and it provides one of both colors.

Commander's Sphere - I always brushed this card off, but you can sacrifice it to draw even if its tapped.

Darksteel Ingot - More fixing, but this one sticks around.

Sol Ring - You already knew this.

These are cards that are meant to be thrown at your opponents. Its smart to leave mana up to fling these creatures on the end step before you're upkeep, so you can use Brion or the creature to block, if need be.

Cosmic Larva - Cheap 3 drop with 7 power. Make sure to only summon it so you can fling it, because it's not worth sacrificing 2 lands.

Scuttling Doom Engine - This is one of my most favorite cards in the deck. with Brion, hes a hyper-efficient scuttley-buddy, especially if you have recursion.

Serra Avatar - Amazing wincon especially if you can fling it with Brion (doubles your life), but it's super costly and a prime target for removal.

Spark Trooper - This card is really efficient alongside Brion. Gain health off combat damage, and off of Brion flinging him.

Thunderblust - This is one of the best creatures in the deck. If you can manage to get Brion out turn 4, Thunderblust is an amazing turn 5 play. Swing for 7, fling for 7, gain 7, and get your creature back.

Yosei, the Morning Star - Yosei ends games very easily, especially if you can recur him from the graveyard and fling him over and over.

Rite of the Raging Storm - This card is mostly political but it gives us a creature to fling, as well as a creature for our opponents to hit each other with. It's important to note that the Elemental being passed around cannot hit you.

Selfless Squire - Protect yourself from all incoming damage, then attack with it right back. If that isn't enough, fling it with Brion and gain that much life! Its kinda like a slower Deflecting Palm

Phyrexian Processor - This card is excellent. If you pay 20 life, you can make a 20/20 to fling with Brion to gain all that life back, then proceed to do it again the next turn!

Anger

- Fling this angry boy at your opponents to give the rest of your dudes haste!

These are the creatures that get increasingly large over time, and somewhat pressure your opponents to think more politically about how they are playing.

Hamletback Goliath - This big doofy boy gets massive if he sits out for too long. Fling him fast, cause he may be a prime target.

Slumbering Dragon - Slumbering Dragon is a great one drop. Although you most likely wont be attacking with it within the first 3-4 turns, it is still a threat to your opponents and gives them a reason not to attack you.

Sunscorch Regent - Gets bigger and bigger while your opponents cast spells, while gaining you a little health along the way.

Taurean Mauler - Although it doesn't gain you life or have flying, this creature is cheaper in cost and gets large really fast.

Recursion

Adarkar Valkyrie - This card is just good recursion for this deck, alongside having a more than reasonable pricetag

Emeria Shepherd - This card is amazing, especially if you have Land Tax, also it makes drawing land late game not as bad as it could be.

Feldon of the Third Path - Feldon does insanely well in this deck, especially with cannon fodder in the graveyard.

Sigil of the New Dawn - Paying 2 to put your cannon fodder back into your hand is always a good deal.

Gift of Immortality - This is arguably the best recursion card in the deck, especially if you put it on one of your larger creatures. This card wins games, and it's commonly what I tutor for with Open the Armory

Sun Titan - Recurs a lot of important stuff that seems to get removed easily. (Feldon of the Third Path, Burnished Hart, Gift of Immortality, etc)

Haunted Fengraf - Random recursion on a land. I had one, so why not.

Theft

We're throwing everyone out of the ring! Why fling your creatures when you could just take your opponents biggest body and throw it at their face? Play a theft spell, and swing at them with their own creature. After combat, throw it at their face with Brion!

Captivating Crew - Theft on a body. You can also trigger this ability multiple times a turn.

Hijack - Theft that also lets you take control of an artifact. This is mostly just utility.

* Kari Zev's Expertise - Theft that let's you cast anything from your hand with mana cost 2 or less. Useful when you have some small artifacts in hand.

Traitorous Blood - Theft that gives the stolen creature trample. Just helps damage push through.

Act of Aggression - Theft you have access to, even when you don't have a source of Red mana.

Word of Seizing - Theft at faster than instant speed! You never know when Split-Second could be useful.

Molten Primordial - Steals one creature from each opponent until the end of turn, on a fairly sizable body.

Mass Mutiny - Steals one creature from each player until end of turn.

Mob Rule - Steals all creatures with power 4 or greater, or 3 and below. This is a solution for decks that go wide.

Throwing Tech

These are all cards that synergize with Brion throwing creatures, or creatures dying.

* Cradle of Vitality - When you fling something with Brion, you can pay 2 to pump your next creature off of the lifelink trigger.

* Dragon Breath - This is okay to put out early game, but its most useful when your biggest bombs come out late game.

Flameshadow Conjuring - Create a hasty token of a creature as it enters, swing with it, and fling it with Brion.

Grafted Wargear - I like this equipment because you can equip it to something to make it more powerful, then just move it to the next fling target for no cost.

Magewright's Stone - Untappy artifact mostly used to untap Brion

Thousand-Year Elixir - Untappy artifact I already typed this Brion

Skullclamp - Equip it to a fling target to draw two when you sac it.

Thornbite Staff - This thing is REALLY cool, especially with Molten Primordial, Mass Mutiny, and Mob Rule. Equip it for 4 on Brion, and fling all of your opponents creatures out of the ring after swinging in with them! This interaction was way too cool not to include.

Sunforger + Targets

Many of you probably knew this was coming, but Sunforger is way too good to not take advantage of it. Equip it to a creature for 3, and unattach it for a red and a white to cast any instant with CMC 4 or less. Since there are no real counterspells in Boros colors, this is the best outlet we have for reliable answers.

Sunforger - Sunforger OP

Boros Charm - Use this to finish off an enemy, or (more importantly) save yourself from a boardwipe.

Deflecting Palm - Your friends will hate you so much if you use this to win, so use at your own discretion/risk.

Fling - Redundancy is key.

Obliation - Targets a nonland permanent and makes them put it on the bottom of their deck. Although they get to draw 2, being able to target an enchantment/artifact with this makes it worth it.

Onward // Victory - give a huge buff the thing you're about to fling, then give something else double strike later.

Wear // Tear - Cheap artifact and enchantment removal

* Swords to Plowshares - Creature removal, but I feel that something like Path to Exile would be safer.

Wild Ricochet - The closest thing I could find to a counterspell. Since you choose new targets for the original copy, you can sometimes protect yourself from certain spells that target you or a creature you control.

Wipes, Tutors, and Filtering

These are just generic wipes in white that help when your opponents get a little too crazy, or when board states just get way too intense.

Divine Reckoning - Lets everyone save their best creature after the wipe. This is especially good, because you can leave Brion on the board, and use a theft affect to steal and fling the last creature they thought they were going to have!

Wrath of God - The big Red Button that you press if nothing is going your way.

These are generic tutors and filtering cards that can get you the more important pieces in this deck

Hoarding Dragon - Although its a slow tutor, getting rid of this guy isn't all that hard to do, especially with Brion out on the table.

Open the Armory - The two main targets for this card are Sunforger, and Gift of Immortality. If you have a good board state with a decent creature to enchant, get Gift of Immortality. If you need to play it safe, definitely get Sunforger

Well of Lost Dreams - Although this is pretty expensive, being able to exchange life for card draw is great, especially when were gaining so much life off Brion.

Tormenting Voice - Discard 1 to draw 2. Get rid of something you don't need for 2 things you might need.

Cathartic Reunion - Discard 2 to draw 3 can be risky, but drawing 3 cards is always good.

Reforge the Soul - Getting the Miracle trigger on this card is ideal, but wheel effects are a life saver when you run out of things to do.
