There's something poetic about a short game of commander. It's like youth cut down in its prime. You sit down at the table and reveal Breena. "Oh! I love that precon!" "Group politics is so much fun!" "You keep letting me draw cards, and I'll let you live."

It's a nice day for murder.

After I read Breena ten times and understood what she did, I saw unchecked potential that I think a lot of people are sleeping on. She's not a fun-loving, pillow-fort making, card-giving smooth-talker; she's an outright murderer. Imagine the very-real scenario of playing a creature T1, then a 2nd T2 and attacking someone for 1. T3 you play Breena, attack with your two creatures and immediately draw two cards and make Breena a 5/7. An opponent gives in to greed and attacks someone else, giving them a useless card and making Breena a 7/9. T4 you untap, give her double strike or infect, and attack the two highest life totals again, drawing two more cards and making Breena an 11/13 on TURN 4 and killing your opponent. Your other two foes look at you in dumbfounded shock and immediately conspire against you, but it's far too late. Your hand is refreshed with protection, and Breena has the taste for blood.

The deck is all-in on Breena. There is no Plan B. If you want a linear deck that cuts through the durdling of the format, love putting your opponent to the test fast, or if you just enjoy being the archenemy, then try this deck. Upgrades are listed below in the updates.
