I use this deck strictly for 2HG to shut down the opponent that has the most chance at stopping my partner. And of course to plink at them with the vise :)
In general you start with the opponent with the most colors. Concentrate on just the colors you want then expand when you can.
Pestilence
Pestilence has an edge in 2HG as it does two damage for each mana spent. Pair it with a partners Pestilence Deck or a deck with large creatures and you have a win!
If you see your opponent shuffling their weenie deck then ask your partner to play an early defensive deck and nonchalantly grab this without giggling.
To Switch to Pestilence Mode...
Replace: 4x Mole Worms, 4x Black Vise, 4x Swamp, & 2x Befoul
With: 4x Pestilence, 4x Dark Ritual, 4x Ghost Quarter, 1x Zuran Orb & 1x Sol Ring
Hint #1: Do one point of Pestilence at a time and allow priorty to shift to opponent and back to avoid unwanted responses.
Hint #2: Your closing move is to tap a Swamp, sac it to Zuran Orb, use that mana for Pestilence & REPEAT

Disclaimer: Since I don’t play in official tournaments and my group rarely updates their decks, we don’t have sideboards.
90% of the time is spent in 4 to 8 person multi-player games. We play some EDH and every now and then we toss in a Two-Headed Gian.
