I like my brews the same way I like my memes - spicy.

This is a standard-legal combo deck utilizing one of the jankiest five-card-combos I could find.

The interaction between Brain in a Jar , Hedron Archive, Paradox Engine, Seasons Past, and any tutor spell allows you to generate infinite mana and cast a very large Torment of Hailfire to end the game.

Explanation

Using Diabolic Tutor or Razaketh's Rite as you tick up Brain in a Jar allows you to grab Seasons Past if you don't already have it in your hand. As long as you have Paradox Engine and Hedron Archive on the board, for every spell cast, you net gain one colorless mana as you use Brain in a Jar to cast your spells for one colorless mana. Once you cast Seasons Past to get your cards back, you should have stored up enough colorless mana to remove some counters off of Brain in a Jar to reset the combo and keep going. Getting more Hedron Archive's allows the engine to generate mana even faster. Prophetic Prism's let you filter your mana into any colors that you might need in order to hard-cast spells after you reset Brain in a Jar . Eventually, you can just keep cycling through your cards until you have enough mana to finish the game.

Currently thinking of dropping black and adding red instead for some more early game removal to keep me alive long enough to combo off and using Fall of the Titans as the finisher.

Also thinking about dropping a third color altogether and streamlining the deck, adding Weaver of Currents and more counter/draw spells and using Nissa, Steward of Elements as the finisher.

Looking for any and all constructive criticism. Let me know what you think!

Played this brew at my local game store's FNM. Went 1-2, which I consider to be pretty decent considering the level of jank involved in this deck.

Round 1: Played against Red/Black Aggro and lost in two matches.

Not much to say here. I run almost no early game removal, and my opponent got under me before I could combo off.

Round 2: Played against White/Green aggro and managed to get the combo off the first match. Lost the following two matches.

Again, never drew any Bontu's Last Reckoning's and my opponent got underneath me.

Round 3: Played against the Nissa starter deck and won in two matches.

I felt kind of bad as I played against a relatively new player and they had to witness me play solitaire for 20 minutes before I could end the game. Went into extra time on our second match and managed to get the combo off for the round win.

All in all, I consider having won a round a general success as far as piloting this pile is concerned. Also, casting Bontu's Last Reckoning at instant speed using only a Hedron Archive (leaving all of my lands untapped) is pretty sweet.
