Overdue Updates —March 3, 2018

I'll admit I've taken a break from playing UB Control, but it's still my favorite archetype to play. So here, I'm basing my deck on CFB's article from 2/22/2018, but with my spin on it:

  • Perilous Voyage: I think this card fits perfectly in this deck, and does a lot. The current meta has a fair bit of permanents with CMC < 3, that the scry 2 is relevant in moving the deck past its dead spots

  • Consign / Oblivion: similar role, but flashing in Consign / Oblivion via Torrential Gearhulk is too good to pass up.

  • Metallurgic Summonings is a great secondary wincon. My love for this card is well-documented on this thread.

  • in general, I follow CFB's other recommendations.
