This is an aggressive deck that uses turn one Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear to get in early damage complimented by powerful burn spells such as Lightning Bolt and Lava Spike. This build utilizes Eidolon of the Great Revel and Harsh Mentor to lock opponents down and limit potential responses.

The assymetrical effect of Harsh Mentor allows the deck to fix mana better than our opponents by forcing them to take three damage to fetch. Harsh Mentor is especially taxing to artifact based combo decks such as Eggs or Lantern Control.

While Eidolon of the Great Revel has a symmetrical effect, the deck can outpace our opponents by dealing more damage than they are capable. Eidolon of the Great Revel is particularly effective against control builds by discouraging countering the burn spells, and can lock a Storm deck out if they lack creature removal.

Finally, I run 4x Path to Exile mainboard due to a Jund and creature heavy meta.
