Aurelia, the Warleader and Iroas, God of Victory were the first Boros legendary creatures I ever got the chance to play with. My first EDH deck was built with Aurelia, the Warleader at the helm and has been upgraded over time. (See Boros Aurelia) As many cards came out of my first deck in favor of more powerful cards, I found myself wanting a lower power Boros deck that could be a home for all of these cards that I had a soft spot for, but had to cut for power reasons. Thus, this deck was born.

This deck is designed to take advantage of the fact that we always have access to a copy of Iroas, God of Victory in our command zone. It uses smaller creatures with useful attack triggers (battle cry, make tokens, etc.) that would otherwise get eaten by bigger blockers but can now survive because of our commander. It then plays some bigger creatures at the top end to try and end the game in a few good alpha strikes.

This is a go-wide attack deck that is intended for a lower power game. If you've got any suggestions on cards that would be fun to play in the deck, please let me know!
