Nethroi, Apex of Death is in my humble opinion, the best fucking Abzan commander to ever be printed no contest. Mass recursion in the command zone, bet.

This is more focused on 0/0 tribal to allow more hits with the mutate trigger, and most 0 power creatures have a gang of +1/+1 counter synergy. Hardened Scales time baby, here we go.

The one thing I want to point out is the importance of 1 big mutate trigger. We are gonna have the biggest target on our head when we bring back 6 or more creatures that are thicc as shit, so we need a way to grant haste when they enter. I really like the synergy of Odric, Lunarch Marshal and any creature who happens to have haste, like Yahenni, Undying Partisan.

There's tons of ways to build Nethroi, this is just one of many options. Hope my list helps in any way with your deck building.
