Enchantment (1)

Artifact (1)

That's Scottish for "Old Man of the Rooks" (Pronounced similar to boh-dahk roh-kesh). A slang term for a scarecrow. To be less trite than the usual Reaper King, I thought the new Golgari commander Rendmaw would be fun to build scarecrow typal in, since it's a scarecrow that makes birds that are scared to attack you, and scarecrows have two different card types to trigger it repeatedly.

So, we cast a lot of Scarecrows. There's not a lot of good ones, but there's some decent ones. And some changelings to make up for numbers, though they aren't dual typed creatures, generally, to trigger our commander. There's a bit of sacrifice in here, but it's not a full on aristocrats build- we have birds, why not use them for something, right? We aren't necessarily aiming to win, just bring a bit of spooky fun, but Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat can drain our opponents out slowly, and Blood Seeker can drain our opponents at once each time we give them a bird. We could alternatively smash face after growing an army of birds and Metallic Mimic/Steel Overseer-buffed scarecrows.

Maybe there's some combos I'm missing among my choices, but that wasn't the plan for me this time. Just a bit of spooky brainstorming perfect for it nearly being October.
