Sideboard

Maybeboard

Very similar shell to my Abzan Seasons Past control deck, but re-tooled to make use of Dynavolt Tower. Whereas the other deck is more draw-go-kill.

Why the blueh: it's a concession that any deck running blue will have some some sort of counterspell to ruin my plans (mostly to stop Seasons Past, or wipe it out entirely with some sort of black disruption, post sideboard).

I went 0-3 this time around. Things I've learned:

Go all in with Dynavolt Tower. It is good in the later stages of the game.

Increase access to lands. Had to mulligan more often than not.

I like Traverse the Ulvenwald. However, turning on with delirium proved to be quite difficult. Still, it's more flexible than Attune, in the long run.

More Diabolic Tutors...to ensure Seasons Past recursion

The kill spells have to be fast, cheap and hit their targets better. Push, Immolating Glare, and Grasp of Darkness ensure that. Splendid Alliance can kill gods, but can be distracted by attacking decoys

The mana base includes more basics. Having 8 man-lands and tapped basics in Evo Wilds slows me down enough. Still, they synergize well with Sylvan Advocate, and give control decks fits

Still, added more Evo wilds; they can power Fatal Push, and Tireless Tracker very nicely.
