In a meta filled with greedy land bases, big creatures, and many many little creatures, one deck strives to hate out the rest at only half the price....

Welcome to mono-red control! Our goal is to pump out specified and soul crushing hate at all those who conform to modern land-base's greedy demands. Let's go through a quick rundown of the cards:

Simian Spirit Guide: One of the best there is. T1: guide, ritual, Blood Moon. Nuff said. Rip Harambe

Blood Moon + Ensnaring Bridge : Our two locks for the game. If given the choice, power out blood moon first to kill off your opponent before they get started. The bridge does wonders in the late game, just keep your hand empty!

Chandra, Torch of Defiance + Koth of the Hammer + Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker : Koth is our most important weapon, and is our main wincon. His ultimate will win the game, every time. Chandra can cycle cards without them reaching the hand, and Sarkhan adds some versatility.

Lightning Bolt + Skred : 8 maindeck spot removal? Yes please.

Desperate Ritual + Pyretic Ritual : The fuel to drop some hate way early. Be careful which deck you are up against, because a quick removal spell or counter from an opponent will leave you high and dry. Blood Moon isn't the only spell that can be played early... two rituals and a guide = turn one Koth or Chandra.

Anger of the Gods: Gotta mind the tokens... and persist baddies or anything who likes the graveyard. Two more for ya SB.

Avaricious Dragon: One of my favorite cards here, works great with ensnaring bridge. Can provide aggro if necessary.

Grim Lavamancer + Molten Vortex : One ofs that end the game when we lock it up. Alternate win cons are huge.

The sideboard is a collage of cards to help our weaknesses. Dragon's Claw for burn, Pithing Needle for something pesky, Relic of Progenitus for graveyards and cycling, Shattering Spree for affinity. I really like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth here, as 1. it hoses mill and 2. we can reliably cast it with Koth of the Hammer. How surprised will your opponents be? Very. Goblin Rabblemaster rounds out the 15, letting us go aggro if needed. Ends the game in about three turns if left unchecked.

Remember, this is a control deck and should be played a lot like Skred Red. Utilize the early Ramp to shut your opponent down before they even start! Props to MTGGoldfish for providing the basis for this design. Any help is appreciated, and pls +1 and share to support!
