Well Kangee is the Bird for you!

The beauty of a birds tribal is how terrible of a tribe it is, yet how powerful it can be at moments. Sure, this deck could be made better by switching in Derevi, but this deck isn't aiming to be good, its aiming to be Fun!

Having build in evasion, this deck naturally can put fear into your opponents. Flying is very powerful, and easy to work with.

How Does It Work?

The main focus is a slow burn. Basically cast birds as fast as you can, and try to slowly amass an army. You have 40 life, so when possible try and eat damage instead of blocking if a creature would die due to this block. WU is trash with ramp, but try your best to build up a solid mana-state. This is the weakest point of the deck, as it doesn't really use much control outside of Dovescape, so your opponents can easily get ahead of you. Perl Medallion, Watcher of the Spheres, Warden of Evos Isle, Stormscape Familiar, and Urza's Incubator help a ton at this stage. Reducing Kangee's CMC is often vital to getting that hit...

Alas!, be patient. Kangee will come, and when this bird does - OH BOY! Your commander is a build in bomb, blowing up your creatures p/t. Kangee's kicker is weird, effectively making Kangee need 6 mana ( for her CMC, and to start putting into the kicker) before you can start dumping into their kicker. But this is casual EDH, and so if you can amass even an additional 3-4 mana to put into the , and you got yourself a monster of a board state. A rule of thumb is to keep a counter-spell in hand to make sure Kangee can actually hit the board.

At this point, you have massive creatures with flying... time to kill. Most-likely, you'll have to tap-out on attacks, kill one or two opponents, and accept the clap-back next turn. Kangee is such a powerhouse that she rarely lasts a turn-cycle, so there is no point in trying to do anything fancy. Kill some of your friends, laugh a bit, and the die next turn!
