Goreclaw is a really cool commander. She 1) Discounts your high power creatures so you can churn them out quickly; 2) provides power and trample to attacking creatures; 3) is a bear.

This is a beat down deck. This is pretty fair magic, with no seriously grand high mana pay-offs that mono green normally has in Commander. So with that in mind, I built the deck with a more mid-range plan in mind in case of board wipes. I've tried to add as many ways to generate value from my creatures as possible. But for the most part, I want to be large and in charge, at all times.

I've experimented with trading out 1:1 basic lands in exchange for MDFC's from Zendikar Rising, and have had some pretty reasonable success. This is to help reduce the number of lands drawn in the late game, as even if the card isn't all that good on the front half, it's better than a land in most situations. I've added in some extra cards I normally wouldn't to supplement finding early game lands, like Winding Way and Search for Tomorrow. Starting the game with a tapped land or drawing into one on a key turn can happen, but it's a downside I'm willing to deal with. It should theoretically have no effect on your "land count" in your starting hand.
