I was looking to get some use out of a bunch of the low-mana fatties that Modern has to offer.
Eater of Days
can finally outrun their fallbacks in a deck where they come out early, hasty, and then get either unceremoniously flung to the opponent's face or turned into a silly amount of card advantage. Tier 1 deck, maybe not. But absolutely hilarious and surprisingly effective depending on the match-up.
I'm still looking to optimize the deck. Right now the sideboard is mostly focused on playing through counterspells and attempting to punish blue control decks. Suggestions greatly appreciated for the mainboard, sideboard, or concept overall.
