Bant wizard tribal!

My Tamiyo, Field Researcher needs a home so why not hang out with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, Azami, Lady of Scrolls, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, ?

The goal here is to play Derevi more like a hybrid of an Edric, Spymaster of Trest deck and an Azami, Lady of Scrolls deck--i.e. unblockable/evading weenies triggering things like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician's ability, Beastmaster Ascension, Bident of Thassa and/or Coastal Piracy.

I don't want to be hated-out for playing Derevi and I don't think I can afford to make a tier-1 deck anyway. I'm trying to make the initial build $50-60 and upgrade it from there once it is non-virtual. Should be workable and playable regardless!

I'd like a moderate to above-average wizard tribal theme for fun and function. Many have good tap abilities, such as Beguiler of Wills, Arcanis the Omnipotent, and Azami, Lady of Scrolls. Plus, plenty of them have evasion. I'm trying to squeeze in as many white wizards as I can for flavor.

I'm trying to not include any infinite combos and only a hint of stax.

I think for this deck I'll run a partial or full counterspell suite since I should have extra lands untapped and decent card-draw. Fits the wizard-tribal theme as well. Considering I will need to land hits I might swap for a suite of removal instead.

I'm looking for more cards like Intrepid Hero, Oracle en-Vec, and Empress Galina that have interesting tap abilities. Royal Assassin would be perfect, were it not black.
