This deck used to be Mammoth Fires but Wizards pooped on it so I removed Fires of Invention and Drawn from Dreams and added Stormwild Capridor and Track Down. I'm gonna play this later and see if it can still hold up without the main card.

WOTC just murdered two of my favorite decks at the same time. This may not have been the best Fires deck out there, but it was my favorite, my Fashion Nugget, eh you kids are probably too young for that, the point is that I achieved exactly what I was trying to achieve with it. I even had my friend paint a custom deck box for it and bought some cool Hunter in the Snow sleeves. I'm gonna miss the 24 damage turn 5 kills. Now it's all gone :(

What crazy new-fangled Fires decks were people making anyway?

Trying to push to 5-6 lands with The Birth of Meletis. At that point I should have Rhythm of the Wild out so I can drop Ilharg, the Raze-Boar and Terror of Mount Velus or Aggressive Mammoth and win. This deck is freight train that is slow to get moving, so I'm using 4x Deafening Clarion and 4x Storm's Wrath to kill everything that moves in the early going (except for Haktos the Unscarred because he's awesome and now Stormwild Capridor)

An ideal curve would be

turn 2: The Birth of Meletis turn 3: Deafening Clarion turn 4: Rhythm of the Wild turn 5: Ilharg, the Raze-Boar gets haste and attacks bringing down Terror of Mount Velus ftw
