We finally made it! Brion Stoutarm has made it to 100 upvotes!

This is my first deck to make it to 100! Super pumped!

Thank you all for your love and support! Never could have made it here without y'all!

Hey Sun Champion

Just wanted to chime in and let you know that I LOVE this deck!I've been playing a slight variation of this deck with my pod for a few months, and have built up quite the reputation of "coming out of nowhere and ending the game". I can't thank you enough for providing us all a deck that that is cost effective and fun to play.

The only recommendations that I would give to you is to put in a lot more counter-play to low CMC, single target permanent removal. Once Brion is up to 8 CMC, it nearly isn't worth casting him anymore... completely making the player a sitting duck. This, paired with the fact that the player will most likely have Brion as the only creature on the field provides quite a problem when facing aggro or steal/control decks, such as Kaalia of the Vast or Riku of the Two Reflections.

Perhaps adding some equipment such as Darksteel Plate, or Shielded by Faith (which can be brought back with Sun Titan) will keep the creatures you absolutely need on the board.

A notable combo I've found is Phyrexian Dreadnought and Shielded by Faith. (For 4 cmc, you have a 12/12 that doesn't sac itself, regardless of what you do!)

Also, I think Sundial of the Infinite and other "End the Turn" cards will make it so any "Sacrifice this creature on your next end step" clauses are null, greatly increasing the board presence this deck has.

I hope these changes are something that you find useful in your meta. It's the least I could do to repay you for providing a deck that got me into Commander!

P.S. If you're a devious player that really likes infinites in your Commander decks, I would recommend that you add in Combat Celebrant and Splinter Twin to nearly quadruple your chances of getting a Kiki-Jiki off mid-game.

Cheers!

KingDeSanders, thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you've enjoyed the deck! I know I have! I've really tried to focus on the cost effective and win-out-of-nowhere attitude, so I'm glad it's working for others as well!

Yeah removal is always tough on me; I know I can improve my protection, and those are good suggestions! Thank you!

Shielded by Faith doesn't work like that with Phyrexian Dreadnought. Indestructible doesn't prevent sacrifice effects unfortunately :(

(If you confused, check the gatherer text for the Dreadnought. The "bury" has been corrected to a sac effect in the errata)

I've used Sundial of the Infinite in early versions of the deck. Never got it to work for me but glad you found some use out of it! It's a fun card.

This deck got you into commander?? I'm touched. Seriously. I'm honored. I don't know what else to say.

re: P.S. I'm not very devious haha! Not a huge fan of the infinite combos but they're alright.
