Enchantment (2)

Instant (1)

Artifact (1)

I was looking at a random Ayara list, and I was struck by a simple realization:

A deck built around winning through Ayara's first ability, that is, by generating as many () tokens as possible, as often as possible, would be capable of comfortably supporting a rather robust Stax package.

The tokens do not even have to do anything beyond "triggering" Ayara by their mere existence (ETB), and survive long enough to be used for Stax payments. Therefore, combat is actually a very distant, tertiary method of attack...

They are as follows:

  1. Burning the opponents out through a combination of Ayara, Konrad, Gary, Exsanguinate, etc.

  2. Locking the opponents down with multiple, oppressive Stax effects; trying to force the opponents to fold.

  3. Attack defenseless opponents...
