The initial idea was to play all of the Fact or Fiction type cards that make piles such as Boneyard Parley and Do or Die . When that well ran dry, I decided to run blink spells to play off of Atris, Oracle of Half-Truths and Sphinx of Uthuun 's ETB abilities. Since the deck has a blink subtheme, other ETB creatures that get back instants and sorceries that blink/make piles just made sense. I rounded out the deck with interaction and counterspells. The deck's ramp focuses on 2 CMC mana rocks to maximize the chances of getting Atris down on turn 3.

I considered Atemsis, All-Seeing , but that seemed too cute and didn't fit the theme aside from being a sphinx for Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign . I included Notion Thief , Swan Song , Ashiok, Dream Render Mnemonic Betrayal and Isochron Scepter only because I had them in my collection; they aren't too necessary to the deck at all. I have no idea how this deck wins, but it seems fun to try out.
