Maybeboard

I want to play with Atraxa but to scape from the classic 20 wraths + 20 Planewalkers + 20 wraths + 40 lands, so What I did? I put all the permanents with a decent value that interacts with our general.

Why Atraxa?

Two points. First: She's a Horror Angel. Second: She proliferate. Need anything else and I don't know?

How Atraxa

Prepare the board for our Queen, lands with counters, artfacts with counters, creatures with counters, counter with counters, play her and watch the counter turning into more counters and triggering everything and drawing, and adding mana, and swinging and laughing.

This is my last invention. The deck was built with my own cards and I wanted only to get budget cards to fullfil the list, I know that the land base can be expensive but I acquire these cards over years so I didn't feel the pain.

I was sick of seeing those SuperFriend decks with a lot of bounces and wraths effects that makes every creature player sad, so I built this deck to use the proliferate ability in many cards as possible in the battlefield. I often lost track of the triggers in my upkeep/endstep, so pay attention when playing this list.

However It's not exactly an "only general based deck" or a SuperFriends! It's more to a control deck that tends to stablish a strong board presence with weak cards. If I was playing SuperFriends or a General based deck, Narset, Enlightened Master would clearly be superior.

I aware of the many Atraxa SuperFriends decks that work by rocking, pillowing then PW for the victory. No offense to any players who use that strategy, but I find it boring, since you always rely on Wraths and Ghostly Prisons to play the only go of the deck, PlanesWalkers. Thus there is only five cards in this deck that has a global effect.

This is what differentiated my Atraxa deck from the majority of the others I have seen. It has positive and negative effects:

Negative: my deck is vulnerable to artifact hate and continuos wraths. What makes difficult to prepare the board for the General.

Positive: it's difficult to the enemies prevent the impact that the general will cause on board due to the fact that the majority of cards are low powered alone - the more "little" cards in play, the more powerfull the ploriferate becomes. It also tends to give you the chance to protect your general more easily, also has the fact that other cards ploriferate and with all the attention in Atraxa you can bait the answers of your enemies and acomplish the plan with the others ploriferate cards.

After all beeing said, the main goal still is put a bunch of PW on the board and overwhelm the opponents with all the card advantage that they provides. With the ramping artifacts and creatures that work with counters and ploriferate ability accelerating the loyal counters some ultimates goes off sooner than expected, getting the enemies off guard. Or you can hit very hard with the bodies, Avenger of Zendikar+Abzan Falconer+Ploriferate, Chimeric Mass ploriferating along the game and becoming monstruos, Titan Forge throwing big 9/9 babies all over the place, how about a 5/4 first strike/deathtouchNirkana Cutthroat that can grow even more with a +1+1 counter proliferating.

Deepglow Skate + Elspeth, Sun's Champion or Freyalise, Llanowar's Furyor Garruk, Primal Hunter or Jace, Architect of Thought or Jace, Unraveler of Secrets or Liliana Vess or Narset Transcendent or Tamiyo, the Moon Sage or Ob Nixilis Reignited or Teferi, Temporal Archmage or Vraska the Unseen equal to Insta ult. In the case of Tamiyo or Jace it's very hard to comeback from this situation and Liliana's ult in the late game normally tear people a part.

Avenger of Zendikar with the help of Abzan Falconer and ploriferate cards makes a army of 3/3 or 4/4 flyers that will lead somebody to the underworld if not answered, unfortunally I doesn't think that Concordant Crossroads worth the slot to help the kill be in the turn it happens.

Altar of Shadows and Black Market end up completing thenselves and becoming self sufficient, guaranteeing one remove per turn.

Fathom Mage's ability with the constant proliferate of Atraxa, Praetors' Voice gives you a lot of draw every turn.

Deepglow Skate + Jace, Unraveler of Secrets becomes a very bad situation for your enemies, turning two spells into only one.

Deepglow Skate + Narset Transcendent The only deck I can remember that would laugh in our face is Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, the others pretty much conceds.

Deepglow Skate + Tamiyo, the Moon Sage makes your Negate or Cyclonic Rift infinite, what can they do about this?

REQUESTED CONTRIBUTIONS

The deck has so many interactions due to proliferate, once your board is full. I know that I could make it more competitive by going off-theme, but it was always intended to just be fun to play. There are also many cards I would like to add, but it is very hard to find cards to cut or money to invest rs.

What are other cards that would help with the strategy outlined above?

Are there other good counters interactions that I have forgotten?

How would you upgrade the land-base?

If possible, please include suggestions of cards to cut as well. Thank you all!!!

Some may notice some similarities with the description of I Call Her Vera: Sidisi EDH [PRIMER], It's simply because I think that is the better description I've ever see in tappedout and then used as a scope to build this one.
