This is a very special deck of mine. I call this deck "The Four Horsemen" because it actually has 4 different interchangeable commanders: Urza, Lord High Artificer, Arcum Dagsson, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Muzzio, Visionary Architect. Each commander plays differently from each other. I will break down the deck based on who is commanding the deck.

Urza, Lord High Artificer (power level 9):

This is probably the highest ceiling for power level, although the deck is not configured to take complete advantage of him. I have intentionally excluded the stax related cards (Winter orb, Trinisphere etc.) for two reasons. First because this deck needs to be compatible with all 4 commanders and second because frankly those cards are not very fun for the rest of the table. You will still find that Urza is still ridiculously powerful even in just an artifact good stuff deck. There are a couple of ways to get infinite mana. If you achieve this you can exile your entire library and win with either Hangarback Walker, Walking Ballista, or Urza, Lord High Artificer. A lot of the time you will be getting in with combat damage. The Karnstruct that Urza comes with gets huge. Cards that work great with Urza are cards that produce multiple artifacts, thus creating a lot of mana. Cards like Hangarback Walker, Myr Battlesphere, Sai, Master Thopterist, Thopter Assembly, Whirler Rogue, Myr Turbine, and Thopter Spy Network all synergize well with Urza.

Arcum Dagsson (Power Level 8):

This is my favorite iteration of the deck. This deck used to be a Paradox Engine Arcum Dagsson deck. It has evolved greatly since then into a Dagsson toolbox deck. The addition of Shadowspear from Theros Beyond Death allows for more toolbox options. Here are all the toolbox cards and what they do. Shadowspear - for opponents with important Hexproof and Indestructible creatures. This is great against Theros gods. Crawlspace - for opponents with go wide strategies. Relic of Progenitus - for opponents with graveyard heavy strategies. Spine of Ish Sah - this should be used mostly for enchantments but it is a catch all card that can remove essentially anything. Ugin's Nexus** - for opponents who like to take extra turns. You can also sacrifice this card to take an extra turn yourself.

We are running plenty of small disposable artifact creatures for Daggson's ability. These cards include Hangarback Walker, Pili-Pala, Myr Retriever, Plague Myr, Silver Myr, Solemn Simulacrum, and Guardian Idol. In addition, we have several cards that make token artifact creatures like Hangarback Walker, Myr Battlesphere, Sai, Master Thopterist, Thopter Assembly, Whirler Rogue, Thopter Spy Network, and Myr Turbine. Some of the biggest and best non-creature artifacts to grab include Caged Sun, Mind Slaver, Myr Turbine, and Skysovereign, Consul Flagship. If you cannot think of a good card to grab, Darksteel Forge is probably the best choice. Darksteel Forge and Nevinyrral's Disk is a one sided wrath combo. Also, Basalt Monolith and Rings of Brighthearth creates infinite mana. This strategy requires you to have an extensive knowledge of the cards in the deck and know when to search and use them.

Sai, Master Thopterist (Power Level 6):

If Urza is "aggro" and Dagsson is toolbox, then Sai is control. This strategy is definitely a tier lower in power level than the first two. The goal of Sai is to spit out a bunch of thopters, cash them in for value, and gain a lot of card advantage. some of the best artifacts to sacrifice are Ugin's Nexus, Spine of Ish Sah, Hangarback Walker, Junk Diver, Myr Retriever, Scrap Trawler, Solemn Simulacrum, and of course any artifact token produced. Because we are in mono-blue, there are not many board wipes in the deck so be careful.

Muzzio, Visionary Architect (Power Level 4):

The other 3 Horsemen have clear cut strategies (control, aggro, and toolbox) but Muzzio does not have a specific strategy. Due to the random nature of Muzzio's activated ability, you never know what is going to happen. Ideally, you should hold up Muzzio's ability and activate it on your last opponents end step. This Horseman is mostly a "lets have fun and see what happens" strategy. Just have fun with it and hopefully some crazy things happen.

Cool Combos

Grand Architect + Pili-Pala - Infinite colorless mana as long as Pili-Pala does not have summoning sickness.

Rings of Brighthearth + Basalt Monolith - Infinite colorless mana

Citanul Flute - The Flute lets us search for a creature based on how much mana we tap to activate its ability. Here are my top picks for creature tutors depending on how much mana is spent: 0 - Hangarback Walker 1 - Hangarback Walker (no creatures in the deck with CMC 1) 2 - Etherium Sculptor 3 - Shimmer Myr 4 - Solemn Simulacrum 5 - N/A 6 - Wurmcoil Engine 7 - Myr Battlesphere

Tezzeret the Seeker - Like Citanul Flute, here are some of the best tutor targets for each -X ability: -0 - Seat of the Synod - Ramps one land for no loyalty reduction. -1 - Sol Ring - Ramps for 2 mana for only 1 loyalty (Probably the best choice overall) -2 - Lightning Greaves - To set up protecting our commander, whichever one it may be. -3 - Shimmer Myr - Change the turn order essentially -4 - Nevinyrral's Disk - If we are in desperate need of a board wipe

Myr Turbine - Best targets to search for are Myr Battlesphere for aggro or Shimmer Myr to change the turn order.

Nevinyrral's Disk + Darksteel Forge - Board wipe every turn.

Final thoughts:

I like this deck because it is really 4 different decks in one. Adjust your commander to the power level of the table or just use whichever commander you feel like for the day. I think I will give a "Best Card Award" for each of the horsemen. For Urza, the best card in the deck is actually Sai, Master Thopterist, Sai and Urza on the field at the same time will lead to some degenerate combos. For Daggson, the best card in the deck is Darksteel Forge. It is the best tutor target but the fact that Daggson is a toolbox deck makes it hard to pinpoint one specific best card. For Sai, the best card in the deck is Ugin's Nexus. The Nexus becomes a setup turn to allow us to untap with a ton of mana and then go off. For Muzzio, the best card in the deck is Sensei's Divining Top. Letting us pay 1 mana to look at the top 3 cards of our library gives us a huge advantage when deciding if we should activate Muzzio's ability.
