The Commander 2018 decks were as a whole extremely underwhelming in my opinion. That being said, there are some cool new toys to play with, and Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle is one of the most interesting card designs I have seen. The goal here is to ramp into an early Arixmethes, then sling a bunch of low cost/"free" spells so we can attack as soon as possible. Thespian's Stage also combos with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle (similarly to Dark Depths ) to send him back to the command zone while keeping the stage as a 12/12 creature since it will not have the counters on it. I must warn you though that combat damage dealt via Thespian's Stage copying Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle does not count as commander damage. Advice is very appreciated.
