My first and only attempt at an original brew - I came up with this stormless storm deck back in late 2019 - in the Oko era where having creatures was kind of a bummer. Deck really shined through the oldschool Death's shadow meta, back when it packed several copies of Aria of Flame for grinding/killing shadows. I decided to update the deck for the 2022 modern meta - trimmed all the unnecessary meme stuff like Remand, Echoing Truth, and Arias and added some more solid cards like Forces and Endings, alongside everyone's favorite companion, for extra resilience and grinding power. And so, I present to you the all-in pinnacle of my brewing skills - Jeskai Pyro Ascension combo.

This deck's one and only maindeck win condition is having an active Pyromancer Ascension, which is fairly easy to do and achievable turn 3, setting up an infinte loop of 2x manamorphose + 2x noxious revival, which is also fairly easy with Underworld Breach, generating infinite mana, cantripping for a bit until a second Ascension or Breach is found, and casting lightning bolt or thought scour at the opponent's face as many times as it is necessary. Postboard against most decks the plan is to jebait opponents into siding out their creature removal and going ham with Thing in the Ice, while opponents are lookin at their limp gravehate cards just sitting there.
