There aren't a lot of decks with Ardenn out there, that take a shot at his abilitys full potential. With Ardenns ability it is possible, to switch curses and auras between creatures you don't control and players once each turn: "Other players and permanents controlled by other players can be targeted by Ardenn’s ability. This can cause Equipment under your control to be attached to a creature an opponent controls. Auras and Equipment that say “you” still refer to you, as you still control them. Ardenn’s ability can’t cause an Aura or Equipment to be attached to something it couldn’t be attached to." (Gatherer Rulings)

Because of the gatherers ruling, it isn't possible to destroy a target after it is chosen, thus his effect starts at the beginning of your combat phase, without anyone able to interfer, after it triggers: "You choose which Auras and Equipment to move as Ardenn’s ability resolves. Players can’t take actions between the time you choose what to move and the time they’re attached to the target permanent or player." (Gatherer Rulings)

His ability is very unique a way that auras can change the permanent after they have been casted.

The strategy is to distribute the auras and curses at first and then, in a final blow, to channel them on one target. With his ability it is even possible to interact and control the board, the way you want.

The better Partner for Ardenn would be Thrassios for more card advantage, but i wantet to build it casually. It is a fun deck to play with and to play against.

For win-conditions there is a combo with "Siona" and "Shielded by Faith". Another way is to equip all equipments at once. Thirdly you can soft lock and avoid losing with a "shielded by faith" and "pariah" combo. The strength of the deck is to outplay your enemys at the beginning, forcing them to hit each other and in the end yourself hitting hard with one big creature in a 1v1 situation.

The boardwipes are chosen the way they are because enchantet goaded creatures and creatures your opponents control getting destroyed, but mostly all of your own stuff is able to make it out alive.
