It works better than I thought it would.

Six Shadowborn Apostle from a Protean Hulk is quite the treat, but this is otherwise a simple {B}{G} apostle deck with the usual win-cons (Door of Destinies, Bolas's Citadel, and ramp-into-winning with Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire.)

This deck uses elements ranging from devotion (Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx) to good ol' sac triggers (Ayara, First of Locthwain, Syr Konrad, the Grim,) as well.

Thrumming Stone is really good but I've grown unhappy with its obscene power, so in the maybeboard it goes. Absolutely consider it for the competitive edge, however.
