This primer is more a collection of ideas, notes and spontaneous ideas for interactions. Don't be afraid to hardcast some madness creatures for blocking, they will end up in the graveyard anyways.

Try to aggressively mulligan your hand so you have mana to cast anje asap. Start filtering until you hit a tutor and search up Bone Miser hes great value, From here you can try for a creature win, or just drawing tons of cards. Combo Twinflame + Dualcaster Mage for infinite hasted 2/2s. Twinflame Also functions amazingly with bone miser for a huge play. Harmonic Prodigy Doubles Bone Miser and Dualcaster Mage output. Use Viscera Seer to sac zombies and scry out your deck, so you can setup madness triggers properly. Harmonic Prodigy out + Dualcaster Mage(copy 2 spells) / Twinflame, throw a Fiery Temper/Alms of the Vein in on top to win through spell damage and get around creature blocks and fogs.

Surly Badgersaur + Tectonic reformations = no more mana flood problems in hand, provides insane card draw and damage with above combos. Once you draw into these two cards you can try and draw the whole deck.

Syr Konrad, the Grim is a BEAST of a card, but save it in your hand for as long as you possibly can. Better used as discard fodder until you can start cycling like 6-10 creatures 3-4 times in one turn once you have the mana so you can win on the spot. Tainted Strike Konrad to win with merely 6 madness creature cards in the graveyard if you cast Forever Young type cards.

Peer into the Abyss = GG most of the time.

Peer into the Abyss Is a monster of a card by itself for this deck. Your biggest gas limiters are mana and card draw. Unless you're extremely unlucky, you're likely to hit Songs of the DamnedorBattle Hymn, or a Ritual. If you get bone miser/surly + tectonic out, just dump all those lands for all the mana you need. Overmaster to keep it from being countered. If they counter overmaster, imagine someone blowing a 2+ mana counterspell for 1red, or a pact of negation XD. Only for you to Revolutionist/Anarchist and try again. :)

Revolutionist is Anarchist on steroids, this lets you grab Gravepurge and friends over and over and over. Combined with Elixir of Immortality cheap replacements for shuffle-titans. Grave Scrabbler can be used to get them back if they are countered, or to loop with them as well. Bloodline Necromancer added for redundancy. Harmonic Prodigy again, all-star player. 2x spell recursion, 2x reanimate to battlefield. HUGE win more card.

Strength of Lunacy(or anje, if white is threatening early spot removal) go onto Bone Miser. Combine with Alhammarret's Archive Draw your deck. Generate 4B mana per land discard. 2x zombies that you can sac to Viscera Seer to scry 10-30 to set up all the madness triggers. Harmonic Prodigy triples the output, Twinflame everyone to achieve bone miser ascension and looping the whole deck over and over as you please if someone doesn't stop you. Infinite black mana, infinite mana dumpsSyr Konrad, the Grim,Shadows of the Past infinite scry, infinite draw, infinite graveyard shuffle with elixir, infinite storm, infinite exile graveyard exile, infinite discard, infinite life, infinite reanimation. throw in Surly Badgersaur to buff him to arbitrary amounts of power/toughness, then use his fight ability to clear the whole board, or create infinite treasure tokens for colored mana. UNLIMITED POWAHHHHH!

Overmaster into Temporal Extortion allows people to pay half their life to not have the counter activate(expect salt explaining the interaction on this). Have a bunch of mana to use from cycling? Dualcaster Mage + Harmonic Prodigy = 1 extra turn. +2 possible extra turns OR halving the lives of 2 other players making it easier to win on the 1 guaranteed extra turn. If you have enough mana floating around at this point, you can possibly start chaining infinite turns. Twinflame for even more turns, or more damage! Twinflame harmonic, caster mage, you get three mage triggers, cast your time combo but have multiple protected extra turns!

Overmaster functions as a wonderful bluff card too. They are going to have to counter overmaster, or risk getting blown out. And we can keep pulling it back out the graveyard with Revolutionist/Anarchist. 1 Red mana for card draw and a bluff?

Emergence Zone lets you do all this on opponents turns too!

Hell Mongrel is an amazing outlet for clearing your hand, better to get +1 counters on a minion in response to an enemy wheel, than just dumping your hand. + Tainted Strike could be an easy surprise knockout for someone with a weak board. or if there are a bunch of white players on the board Strength of Lunacy will sometimes let you bypass most of their fields, and infect doesn't care about lifegain.

Spot removals: Nightshade Assassin,Big Game Hunter,Surly Badgersaur (careful to not have him fight to death on accident),Ichor Slick (kills indestructible),Alchemist's Greeting,Terminal Agony,Murderous Compulsion,Avacyn's Judgment,Feed the Swarm (enchantment),Dark Withering,Fiery Temper,Violent Eruption,Rakdos Charm (artifact),Chaos Warp (enchantment/indestructible),Malevolent Whispers into Viscera Seer(good for removing indestructible).

Sweeps:Archfiend of Ifnir(opponent sweep).Surly Badgersaur(Either math out how much health he needs to clear the board, or add an indestructible card from your pile for easy board clears),Biting Rain(remember the combos above, you can scale this up),Psychotic Haze,Rakdos Charm(careful not to kill yourself with these two. Anti-token),Bojuka Bog(graveyard hate)

Heavy graveyard hate and heavy creature removal is gonna feel like a GG, Elixir of Immortality to help against it, but if someone casts Rest in Peace/Anafenza, the Foremost(save yourself the pain and play another of your decks), either play vanilla until you can tutor up Feed the Swarm or Chaos Warp or scoop, cause you're in for a painful game. Same for Cursed Totem
